Are you continuing to ride in winter, or would you prefer to leave your e-bike parked for a while? In both cases, it’s wise to thoroughly read the tips about batteries and range and handle your battery carefully. Make sure to store the battery as frost-free as possible, preferably in a dry, well-ventilated area at room temperature. Is your e-bike outside or in the shed? Remove the battery in cold weather and store it indoors. Regularly check if the battery is still half full; if not, give it a charge. And if you’re not cycling this winter? Store the battery in a dry, cool place at about 10 degrees Celsius, with a charge of around 60%, and check the battery regularly, charging it if necessary.
